SOON WATER KYSTLAG is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving maritime traditions, coastal culture, boats and local heritage in Son, Norway.
SOON WATER KYSTLAG was built by ordinary people with an extraordinary connection to the sea. We are craftsmen, historians, volunteers, neighbours and dreamers — united by a shared passion for Norway's maritime heritage.
Here in Son, the sea is not a backdrop. It is part of who we are. Our organization was founded to make sure that the traditions, stories and skills of the Norwegian coast are passed on to generations who will carry them forward.
